The Red Carpet is always my favourite part of award shows. Unfortunately, I missed this year's Golden Globes as I was flying from Toronto to Vancouver. By the time I checked into my hotel room the Globes were close to the end. I did get a chance to catch a glance of a few of the actresses.
I'm a big fan of Jennifer Aniston's classic look. Although I wasn't a fan of her freshly done highlights (a bit to obvious). Her make-up is always fresh and natural looking.
AVEENO® Global Ambassador Jennifer Aniston's look was created by Celebrity Make-Up Artist, Angela Levin:
One of the most important parts of make-up application on a day like the Golden Globes is longevity - it has to last all the way from the red carpet to the event and throughout the after parties. I started by hydrating Jennifer’s face and neck with AVEENO® POSITIVELY RADIANT® Daily Moisturizer SPF 15, and to accentuate her glowing arms and shoulders, I used AVEENO® Daily Moisturizing Lotion.
I proceeded by applying 3 CHANEL Perfection Lumiere Velvet colors—40 Beige as the foundation, 70 Beige for shading and 22 Beige Rose as a highlight. With the darkest color I framed her face blending it onto the neck, then also painting the low jaw line. I applied a thin layer of 40 Beige all over, fading it into the 70 Beige while using the 22 Beige Rose on and around the eyes, bridge of the nose, chin and cheek bone with a minimal amount of powder to set.
With a fan brush I applied CHANEL Cream Blush in Destiny to shape the cheek and Intonation, a much brighter color, on the apple of her cheeks. After applying a minimal amount of CHANEL Les Beiges Bronzer in 70 with a big brush all over her face and neck I used Soleil Tan De CHANEL in Sunkissed with my fingers on the outer corner of her eyes and cheek bones for a sunny glow.
For her eyes I used the two medium colors of CHANEL Tisse Mademoiselle on the eye lids. The dark color in the compact was used as a base for the crease and outer corners while the lighter color was applied under her brow in the higher area. I also used the darkest color of CHANEL Tisse Vendome Compact for the crease. I continued using a thin line of black liquid mascara on the top lash line and extended it a little bit on the outer corners. I then used three layers of Black CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara.
To finish the look I used CHANEL Mordore Nude 05 Lip Liner to shape the lip, feathering it on to the lips to create a base. I then used CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine in Deauville for her lipstick and #297 Glossimer to create a gorgeous creamy beige lip.
Basically, ladies sometimes you need more than one foundation. Also, don't forget a facial moisturizer and moisturize the rest of your body too.
