Backstage at Rodarte, lead artist for NARS James Kaliardos applies messy mascara and dark eyeshadow underneath the lower lower lash line. Think Rocker goes to the beach,

 "It's the idea of makeup that had been applied on the beach - a bit messy, as if the mascara fell onto their faces. Speckled - like stars in the sky."
