revisiting a few oldies {November faves}
Hello all! This November I've been using a few products I already own. There's no reason why I shouldn't include a few "oldies" in my monthly favourites posts because quite frankly I don't always buy beauty products every month when my vanity is fully stocked. And I have lots of favourites already in my stash! Perhaps I will have to take a few pics of my stash, makeup porn anyone? Let me know if you'd like for me to snap a few pics of my makeup collection and I'll post them in the future.
Onto the list:
Rosebud Perfume Co. Salve
Avon Brillant Shine Lipgloss in gleaming mauve (gorgeous shade with a hint of blue shimmer, also lightly mint scent)
Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream (read my review here, perfect for the drier weather)
Scott Barnes Chic Palette in Samba (love! Scott Barnes blush palettes I also own Honey. I wish he would continue his makeup line.)
MAC eyeshadow in Satin Taupe (this shade should be in everyone's makeup kit)
Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal eye liner in 040 purple passion
MAC blush in Sunbasque (one of my staples)
What are your favourite beauty products from November?

Is Scott Barnes no longer available? And if they are, where do we get it?
ReplyDeleteI just tagged you btw :)
I believe most of his makeup was discontinued a couple of years ago. If you check his site the makeup is no longer there:( But if you click on my pic it will take you to Polyvore.com & connect you to the site that sells older stock, although I don't know how reliable that makeup site is. Its too bad because those chic palettes were fabulous & long lasting!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tag:)
I will check it out. Londonmakeupgirl just did a gorgeous look on her site.
ReplyDeleteAs for the tag, yes you have to post your faves blogs and then tell them that you've tagged them. It is time consuming which is why I have a hard time doing them all the time. I do appreciate being tagged! ;-)
Oh, I love Scott Barnes. I wish he'd relaunch this line, the textures are just wonderful. There's quite a bit on Strawberrynet at the moment.
ReplyDeleteGrace London, Thanks for the heads up on where to get Scott Barnes!
ReplyDeleteSatin Taupe is so gorgeous! I think I'm going to check out Sunbasque... A girl could never have too many blushes. :)

I love sunbasque.. it is such a great shade for so many looks! Great choices!!
ReplyDeleteMAC Sunbasque is a true gem, cross between a bronzer & peach blush. Also, another staple of mine is Springsheen.
