the Best Beauty Secret to cross the pond {Liz Earle skincare}

Liz Earle Skincare might not be widely known in North America, (unless your a skincare junkie), but its won numerous skincare awards abroad. In 2006 Liz Earle officially crossed the pond at Brownes & Co Apothecary in Miami. Presently, you can find Liz Earle online at www.lizearle.com or select stores in the US, click here! I first heard about Liz Earle from my various layovers in London. However, what really rocked my boat was when I read several reviews on beauty blogs. The most memorable review is makeup-artist/youtube guru Samantha, user name Pixiwoo. The two products I tried & love are; Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser & Instant Boost Skin Tonic.
Review:
Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is a two-phase system. First you apply the creamy cleanser on dry skin (all you need is one pump therefore a little goes a long way) & gently message all-over including your eye area. This step softens & stimulates circulation while dissolving grime & makeup. Second phase is the muslim cloth that comes with the cleanser. This is sort of like the Oil Cleasning Method that I raved about last year. Rinse the cloth in warm water, wring, and wipe off cleanser. I like leaving the cloth over my face for a few seconds & follow with a light message as I wipe off. Takes off all my makeup including mascara. Final rinse with colder water.
Don't be put off because its a creamy cleanser, this cleanser is suitable for all skin types. I would like to add that if your acne-prone then read the ingredients, as all my reviews are from my personal experience. I also don't suffer from acne but am prone to getting congested skin & this cleanser did not aggravate or clog my pores. Liz Earle products are formulated with natural ingredients, no synthetics. No mineral oil, paraffin wax, petrolatum or any fractions of crude oil or primary petro-chemicals are used. My skin looks refreshed & clear. I've been using this as my evening cleanser & especially love it after a long flight when my skin is dehydrated. Leaves my skin soft, moisturized, and radiant. As if I had a facial! Also, I love the eucalyptus smell:)
This alcohol-free toner removes any traces of makeup or grime left (although you won't see much on the cotton pad as its all removed with the step above). Leaves skin refreshed, soothed & lightly moisturized! I put some in a spray bottle (spritzer option available) & like using it during flights. Smells divine!
Overall, if you can find Liz Earle in your area or are willing to order online these are the two main products to start off with. Next on my list of 'must-try's' are the Liz Earle moisturizers as the colder months will eventually come & my skin gets drier.
Have any of you tried Liz Earle products? Feel free to leave feedback.
